SocialPilot vs Hootsuite vs Agorapulse vs Later (2026 Comparison)

SocialPilot is the budget pick for teams managing many accounts, Hootsuite is the most complete suite, Agorapulse is the inbox and community-management specialist, and Later is the visual, Instagram-first planner. If you're comparing SocialPilot vs Hootsuite, the short version is: SocialPilot costs a fraction of the price and covers scheduling well; Hootsuite costs more but adds listening, a stronger inbox and enterprise features.

Below we compare pricing, accounts, bulk scheduling and the right fit for each.

Prices checked on 19–20 October 2026 in US dollars. Hootsuite, Agorapulse and Later come from their official pricing pages. SocialPilot's pricing page didn't load its numbers when we checked, so its figures come from recent independent reviews; confirm on socialpilot.co before you buy.

SocialPilot vs Hootsuite

SocialPilot is built for value. Recent reviews list four tiers:

  • Essentials: about $30 a month, 7 accounts, 1 user.
  • Standard: about $50, 15 accounts, 3 users.
  • Premium: about $100, 25 accounts, 6 users, with white-label reports.
  • Ultimate: about $200, 50 accounts, unlimited users.

Yearly billing saves about 15%. Its standout feature is bulk scheduling by CSV, plus client approvals and agency tools on higher tiers.

Hootsuite starts at $99 per user a month (billed yearly) with 10 accounts, and adds an AI writer, a unified inbox, brand monitoring and, on higher plans, trend forecasting and team reporting. Trials limit daily posts and exclude bulk scheduling.

Choose SocialPilot if you manage many accounts on a budget. Choose Hootsuite if listening and enterprise reporting matter more than price.

SocialPilot vs Agorapulse

Agorapulse is priced per user ($79, $119 and $149 a month on yearly billing, with 10 profiles each). Its strength is the inbox: comments, DMs, mentions and ad comments in one place, with moderation rules, assignments and saved replies. Bulk scheduling (200 posts by CSV) is on the Advanced plan.

Choose Agorapulse if your team spends more time replying than publishing. Choose SocialPilot if publishing volume and price are the priority.

SocialPilot vs Later

Later is a visual planner known for Instagram, with a drag-and-drop media library and grid preview. Pricing is per plan: Starter $18.75 a month billed yearly (30 posts per profile each month), Growth $37.50 (180 posts) and Scale $82.50 (unlimited). There's no free plan, only a 14-day trial.

Choose Later if your content is visual and Instagram-led. Choose SocialPilot if you manage many accounts across platforms and need bulk tools.

HootsuiteBulk composer on paid plans
AgorapulseUp to 200 posts by CSV (Advanced)
LaterNot a headline feature on its pricing page
FoxliNo CSV upload; queue slots + calendar instead

If you schedule hundreds of posts at once from a spreadsheet, SocialPilot or Agorapulse Advanced will suit you better.

A cheaper option for Indian teams: Foxli

All four tools bill in US dollars. Foxli is priced in rupees, per channel:

  • Free: 3 accounts, 10 posts per channel each month.
  • Creator: ₹99 (about $1.20) per channel a month, unlimited posts.
  • Team & Agency: ₹119 (about $1.45) per channel a month, unlimited seats, client approval links and role-based permissions.
  • 7 platforms and AutoDM for Instagram and Facebook comment-to-DM.

A note on bias: I build Foxli, so I've kept the sections on the other tools factual and linked their pricing pages. Foxli has no CSV bulk upload and no social listening; if you need those, SocialPilot or Hootsuite fits better. Pushpendra Singh Rathor, founder of Foxli
